How The Power Of Kindness Impacts Your Life And Others. Learning to love others as self is life’s most important lesson. It’s called the greatest commandment. “kindness is love in action”.

We might say that kindness is an equivalent means used as response to an action according to the English dictionary but, it goes beyond that. I will say that kindness is treating others the way we want to be treated irrespective of what they have done or who they are without expecting anything in return. When I say treating others as self, I mean putting yourself in that person’s shoe before taking any action. Kindness goes to even how we feel about other people, practicalize your love for others. We should start seeing the needs of people around us, feel concerned about the needs of others, take it personal even when we don’t know them. Kindness is when we sympathize with the pain of others, show concern for others as if it were yourself.Kindness is never walk away from someone who needs help because your hand is God’s hands in that moment. Sometimes when we see people in need of what we can offer, we pray for a miracle whereas we are that miracle, the person you are praying for to solve that need is probably praying for you to solve it because if you believe there are people around you who will do it, then nobody will.Kindness is being willing to be interrupted, we shouldn’t be too busy when it comes to the need of others. Kindness is being ready to take risk, sometimes we might be willing to help but fear of the unknown holds us back but am saying do it because “there is no fear in love, perfect love casteth out fear”. Kindness is being willing to go to extreme for others just as we would for ourselves because there is always a cost for kindness.
Very importantly, we should show kindness with the right attitude. It is very wrong when we help people and expect something in return and when they don’t reciprocate, we tend to be frustrated regretting our act of kindness. We ought to show kindness to others without expecting a pay back or any form of gratitude from them. Escort a poor home and God will carry you on two eagles wing back home. I agree that sometimes we help people but they turn around to hate us, does that mean we should give up on kindness? No, because your reward is not with them but with God who is a rewarder of every good work and He will reward you somehow, somewhere through someone else. Kindness is a seed that we must reap, what ever you do for others is a seed that you must reap if not immediately, someday “while the earth remaineth seed time and harvest shall not cease”.

But I know the question on your mind right now is how can we create a kinder society? Now, let’s look at kindness as a web, A helps B, in return C helps A, B helps C for showing kindness to A… And so on. “Every act of kindness creates a ripple with no end”. I don’t know about you but the most therapeutic thing I can do for myself when my spirit is down is to show kindness to another soul. Personally I would say I help people for purely selfish reasons, it makes me feel so good afterwards. Who told you you can’t share the little you’ve got? We can all make this world go round.
In conclusion, we can create a kinder society by being kind because “a single act of kindness throws out roots in all direction and the roots springs up and make a tree”.
